Bluebell Giving is more than a website, it’s a charitable experience. Bluebell enables individuals to give the gift of giving to friends and family through beautifully designed charity gift cards. Bluebell reached out to us to help make their vision a reality.

Results

We built a solid, scalable Ruby on Rails application, connected to their PayPal merchant account to allow users to quickly and easily order Bluebell gift cards and pre-load them with a donation value. A powerful Rails back-end admin tool helps Bluebell manage charity donations and card printing. Card recipients have been enthusiastic about the idea and the intuitiveness of the donation process. As a result the company is rapidly expanding from it’s Bay Area Beta pilot to nationwide retail sales.

Building a Valuable Online Presence

Gluster approached us with a task of building an online community portal for their developers. The foundation of the idea was to add value through developer interaction and increase access to information through a community maintained knowledge base. We responded with a modern, professional community portal that added real value to the company.

Results

Gluster was acquired in Oct. 2011 by Red Hat for $136 million. We continue to maintain their online presence and collaborate on projects with the Gluster and Red Hat teams.

Clean WordPress Redesign

Druva is a leader in enterprise laptop backup. They approached us to redesign their online presence with a look and feel inline with their target market.

Results

We created several unique layouts that gave each Druva page a “landing page” effect, which led to increased conversions, pages per visit and time on site. Druva is rapidly expanding internationally and we’re pleased to be a part of their ongoing growth.

Sleek Drupal Redesign

Fordela is a one of a kind video streaming service, offering 3D video, 1-click transcoding and a whole host of other groundbreaking features. They approached us to help refresh their online presence on their existing Drupal platform.

Results

We created 3 unique homepage designs, that were so well received that all 3 were integrated into different pages of the final site. The redesign helped attract industry attention at a critical time for the growth of the company and continues to be well received by both consumers and employees.

Website Design for a Product Design Firm

SurfaceInk is a very cool product design shop out of San Jose, CA and Austin, TX. They’ve worked on exciting products like the Xbox360, Klutz Bristle Bots and the ruggedized Quantum 3D Farisght, in use by the US Army. SurfaceInk approached us with the goal of elevating the design of their website up to the design standards of the products they create.

Results

We designed and developed a custom WordPress site with a big, bold product slideshow on the homepage and large, visual close-ups of their products in their portfolio. The redesign has brought much acclaim from the SurfaceInk staff and given the firm the professional online presence they deserve.
